Anyone visiting New-York City, USA who loves architecture and/or art, has a visit to the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum on his or her list.
It was high on my list too, but only in October 2014 did I get the chance to visit it together with my partner.
Unfortunately neither of us enjoyed the exhibition that was on at the time, but for me that didn't matter as the building itself was a treat in and by itself!
Shooting a famous landmark like that with 'just' the standard lens that came with the camera and no tripod or anyone stopping the traffic so I could get the exact vantage point I wanted from the middle of the road, did result in an interesting image.
Just showing the dominant lines is enough for anyone who knows the building to recognise it.
