Musica por favor!

Musica por favor!

2.07

The people in Havana, Cuba didn't have much, but they sure had their music! It felt like music is what kept the entire city together and kept things running.

Strangely enough, the few bars that I've been to during a handful of visits to Havana, don't allow for dancing. I always wondered why, but never thought about to ask.

Another thing that looked to me like an essential thing of daily life in the city were cakes. Not just a cake, but huge ones that needed to be carried by two or three people. Now I think of it, it's a shame I never took a photo of those transports.
